Reaching Teens Where They Are
This City (NYC) is full of influences that bait our young people to the edge, and then chastises them when they fall over”. Years Ago, God opened my eyes and my heart to the needs of the youth in NYC. Just as the paralytic (Mark 2:1-12) who needed faithful men who were willing to break through a roof to get him to Jesus, Many of these young people need leaders who are willing to meet them where they’re at and break through the barriers in their life, and get them to Jesus.
Being part of the High School Ministry in Cru provides me with a Platform and a team of Leaders with a passion to see young peoples lives transformed. I’m excited for this Ministry and the vision God has for all the High School and Middle school students of Bush wick (Brooklyn). It’s a privilege to have been called to serve this city in a more excellent way.

This Outreach Ministry is a way to reach beyond the walls of Egc & into the community. The H.S. Basketball Ministry is an outreach program designed to provide an alternative to hanging in the streets or getting into trouble for boys in the community. The Ministry teaches the boys to be team players, to be dedicated and hard working. Asa “ coach”, I’m not here to teach basketball skills but to share the love of Christ through mentoring and teaching the boys life skills that will help carry them through as they navigate through these delicate years of their youth. Hoping, they Ultimately become young men who seek God and invest in their community.
