WHAT TO EXPECT ::
Shepherd HSM presents: Summer 2008 Road Trip!We’re loading up on charter buses and driving to the mountains of Arizona to United Christian Youth Camp (www.ucyc.com).This is HSM’s own camp, complete with 5 main sessions built around the Road Trip theme, Alone Time with God experiences everyday, FRATZ (small groups), FRAT competitions, talent show, dodgeball, kickball, water games, basketball, paintball, HSM adult leaders, friends and lots of surprises!Jesus said in John 10:10, “I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.”God wants to take you on a journey.Sometimes, you just have to pack your bags, grab your friends and hit the road!
DEPARTURE & RETURN DATE/TIMES :: Monday, August 4, 2008
Monday, Aug 4, be at the church by 7:30 am (Location: North Patio, adjacent with Rinaldi, near the side of the sanctuary)
Leave AZ at 8am on Saturday, Aug 9
Arrive at Shepherd far west part of the parking lot between 3 & 5pm pacific time; depending upon traffic and travel schedule consistency. We'll have your kids call parents when we're an hour out.

WHAT TO BRING ::
ONE suitcase, ONE carry on. Carry on must fit under your seat or in it with you. We cannot allow you to bring more than one suitcase.
Bible, pen/pencil, notebook/journal
Clothing for 5 days, plus travel
Clothes that can get dirty, wet and to play in
Swim suit (girls: keep them modest)
Bedding or sleeping bag to fit single bed (pillow)
Towels, washcloths
Toiletry items, prescription meds
Money for travel, vending, paintball, etc.
Camera
Sunblock
iPods/MP3 type players are allowed ONLY during travel
Put your name on all belongings

Alcohol, cigarettes, drugs, etc.
CD players, iPod stations, Radios
TV, Portable DVD Players, etc.
Mini Refrigerator
Air condition units or box fans
DRESS CODE :: GIRLS
Swimsuits: one piece, tankini, 2 piece with a dark shirt cover
Shorts/skirts/dresses: mid thigh
Shirts: stomachs completely covered, tank top 'sleeves' need to be thicker than bra straps.
Key Word: Modest. Any questions, just pick something else out or ask Dominique.
DRESS CODE :: GUYS
Swimsuits: no Speedos please...because that'll just really gross us out!
Shorts/jeans: cover your underwear...I know it's cool but we don't want to see your skid marks man!
Shirts: other than the pool and for free time basketball if needed to make teams, keep your shirts on please.
RULES ::
Buses: guys/girls cannot sit together, no body parts out the window, respect other cars, keep bus clean.
No girls in guy cabins; no guys in girl cabins.
NEVER be isolated/alone with opposite sex.
No alcohol, drug or cigarette use, etc.
Dress appropriately/modestly.Questions?Ask.
Follow schedule – be where you’re suppose to be.
Do not leave main session when it starts.
Respect and honor all adult leaders and each other.
